Spending that kind of cash on a marker that's as hyped as it is /was by the manufacturer the buyer has a right to be nitpicky. Issues are issues ,and you're right no marker is ever 100% perfect ,but it's usually due to user error, matter of opinion .. I've had many markers since I started playing and I can only think of one or two that weren't "perfect" but then again I spent the sum of maybe 50/150 on them and wasn't expecting much to begin with other then does it shoot?

You should be able to loosen the screw that the wire goes under, make sure the plug is set in the socket good, push a little slack up past the screw and snug it down. I had the problem back when I first got mine and haven't had any problems since doing that.

$800 on the bottom end. Usually closer to 900-1000.
