But seriously, I'm guessing prices will be equal to that of geos and DMs. What was a machine vapor?
Google my friend.

It's a $1650 marker.

I personally have never owned or felt the need to pay more than half that for a gun. So I doubt I'll be owningoen anytime soon.

They've said the under 2000 thing a few times. I've taken it to mean not stupid high, but at the VERY least 800, and while I imagine it will be more then that, that is the point I lose all interest. But thats just me, others will still be interesting.

We don't want to known as the hype company who says their gun is [insert list of better things it never could do here].

We hate that. We don't want to be known as "that" company. It might cost us some sales, but we will be able to live with ourselves, and be proud of our product.
thanks. Great motto. Good luck with your venture. I hope sales will be great enough so that you might consider a pump gun with similar attributes.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Josh, were you involved in the old OTB (Off The Break) company that made vert frames for the impulse, matrix and "blind" bolt?

Nope. Must be another Josh. Heard there was another out there.

Have you considered a drop-in kit for other poppit guns like the Ego/Etek? I doubt it could come with all the features like the hall effect sensor but it seems doable. And sorry if I'm not understanding how this gun works and if that was a stupid question.

Also, it looks like there is one oring sealing the air from the bolt when the bolt is in the forward position. This is one flaw I've never liked about spools. It's hard to tell if that seal is working 100%, and if it's not the efficiency will suffer.

Josh,
I have read this thread, and I have come to love your sense of humor and optimism.

Aside from smoothness; how does this gun feel in the hands? Like and Ego or G6R, or is it its own unique beast?

As for the price point being less than a Machine Vapor, well, good on you. What about the rest of the packaging? Will you be including a barrel kit, o-rings, etc? Cardboard box or plastic case? Will you include a manual or will it be a PDF download?

Believe us, many of us have tried to bring something new to the market, and know and understand the difficulties than can arise. We are just happy that someone is doing something new and different.

Another random question: Who is doing your board? Is it an in-house things or did you contract through a third party like TADAO, Virtue, or APE?

Josh said the board is going to be an in house deal. I asked that question, too.

Considering every Josh I have met is a jerk, but very good looking, it is hard to tell us apart.

Maybe not this layout, but the concept can be done in most stacked tubes. I built the first ones in Merlin extrusions, a Spyder, a bob long spyder, and a Wrath before getting specific built guns.

For the base model, a simple barrel, orings and then some, cardboard box, manual, tools, and whoknows. The TS (Top Shelf) will have a DeadlyWind barrel, Exalt Bolt, and

But that is not what I came on here to post. I came here for a pricing announcement.

1) It will be.....less then a Vapor! We almost promise! That is $400 off our original completely false price!! And it might go down still! Okay, for you guys, At least $100 less then that. But just for you here on MCB. Most likely.

2)PRICING! Pricing? You want to know what the price will be? Do you? Really? There is one way you can find out first: sales@j4pb.com

Have your local store (or if you ARE a store...well, a store owner) send us an email! To sales@j4pb.com Stores will get the pricing before internet release, so they will know (and be allowed to tell walk in customers) before we tell you here in Facebook. Yes, this is totally a ploy to get stores signed up. But hey, at least we told you. And you get to know first. Win-win, right?

Remember: sales@j4pb.com
