If it's a $1000 I'll probably go for it, if not the ripper vic will likely win out because it's only $1200 with both drives. I'm with you on the body, I hate the generic pe/g6r look to it, I'm more of a fan of bob long with their more unique milling on the bodies (even a lot of spools have pretty generic looking bodies like the luxe/clone gt/vapor) I only run with one 68ci so some outlaw games I need good efficiency, luckily most of it's cqb room to room or woodsball but sometimes they bring speedball guns instead and start a paint slinging war and tanks can empty pretty quickly. Hence having a gun that's both a spool and a poppit so I can have both the smoothness for normal play and the poppit for the times I need to get a case off a 68ci.

Oh good a new Dangerous Power Fusion. The back of the hammer might as well look identical to the Fusion and the front is just a slightly different design. Personally I prefer the spring return to home over compared to a more complicated air return system with likely twice as many o-rings.

At least they priced it reasonably. They will easily sell 10 of these.

It's a spool valve marker that can be breech-fed First Strike
I do it with my Ego (and yes I do chrono properly...).

You obliviously did not read the first line of this thread. It says the gun is a Stacked-Tube-Spool-Valve, which means it's nothing like a Fusion, Ego or any other gun on the market today.

You must not be following along all that well, back on page 8 J4 said there are only two moving parts and 3 movement o rings. Now, how is that double the amount of o rings on a FX?? Go hate somewhere else.

Meh. It's a game of semantics companies like to play. Like Jack Woods with the Etha "spool/poppet" hybrid. Apparently leading consumers to a hasty conclusion is effective. Just consider the real world data and the number of "it does sound like almost every good thing from both poppets and spools merged into one marker" posts... it works.

If you look at the spool/poppet thing from a face vs radial seal valve perspective, then the Shocker Sport, ICE Epic, and Legion Shocker are spool valve markers and the Mini/Axe is a poppet.

Anyways. It's nice that it has one fewer "movement o-ring" than an Ion. ...or was that "moving o-ring"? If it's the latter, then that's 3x as many as the Ion! Damn. Now I'm confused. How many of what does the Ion with Nano bolt have?

How often do spools need maintenance? Is that just because of FSDO and velocity consistency issues? Will this HES thing reduce maintenance?

Woooooooooow!!!!!! This company has paintballers figured out. Post up a little something on the forums about the company, just a taste, add some Social networking and sit back and wait. . . . Bam! Free marketing. Very clever.

What are you getting at? It's called a teaser. Social networking, like forums are all about marketing products! If you were running a start up business, would you want your marketing to be expensive and ineffective? The internet is the fastest way to spread information to the greatest number of people, whether you use free services or not. Are saying that J4 who's motto is "tech not hype" is hyping their product just by telling us about it? If announcing new and interesting guns or businesses is not paintball news, what exactly is? Go hate some where else.

um, that's how you introduce a product now.

It's hilarious to see how the crusty ones around here come out whenever a company that isn't CCM or Palmers does something.
