have you talked to german dealers at extravaganza? is there a chance of getting it here?
I did. I also have two options for European distributorship that also keep the VAT and Tariffs at something reasonable and should allow good coverage options for all of Europe. It will take a small bit of time to setup, but it should be fairly soon for a J4 Europe office. Sooner then normal. I don't think we will be sponsoring any Millennium teams though at first. Maybe 2014, if sales do us good.

These are all potentials.

And really, more guns means more people playing paintball, which means more calories burnt. That and people will have to forgo some expensive and high calorie meals to buy them. So, in our small way, we are curing obesity.

We are working with getting out round of test guns out, I am going to do a Maple Syrup Test to show the Canadians and related just how well it will work in the cold.

I am going to cycle the gun, pour syrup into the breech, and you will get to see the gun still shooting near full velocity.

I have put the prototypes through worse bolt stick conditions then that, and they still ran.
If this is an actual test and not just hyperbole, you've just set the Canuckistan standard.

I have had the bolt cycle in far stickier situations then maple syrup. Including in really high heat the bolt expanded and stuck in the breech. Still shot... lost 20fps.

Levi is one sharp guy - and helped with several prototypes of mine in the past.

A small bit of clarity, when we take the pre-orders we are going to do them a bit different. We are going to have pre-order batches of 100, and set them up so we don't get overwhelmed. These will be on an escrow basis, so the money doesn't all go into our pockets for start up and we then take forever, like, ehm, far to many companies. It goes into an escrow account and that money isn't released until we ship. This is to protect the customer and alleviate the delays and potential loss of money associated with startup companies. We will have multiple batches setup for pre-order, with no limit, but that should also allow the pre-ordered customer to know approximately when their order is due.

The timeline is 3-5 weeks from now for final Pre-Production show guns, then after approval (should be a week) we will order the parts, and open the pre-order. The solenoids are the longest lead time item and are already being ordered. Boards are next. We expect by the time we open pre-orders to be 6-8 weeks for the first batch of markers to be shipped out. That of course is pending all things fall in place.

Would shops / websites have a first pref at getting orders filled or are will these runs go directly to the end users / players?

Would it be possible to add a feature to the board of the gun that would tell you when your marker needs to be lubed or serviced since this has a sensor that monitors the moving parts of this gun? The guns out there right now just have a shot counter for this but nothing that actually monitors the guns mechanics. It would be a nice feature this gun could offer over the rest of the high end guns.

Daaa thanks

Oh yeah, PBE was a little over a week ago wasnt it? i keep forgetting that my 4-6week line has to change based on the week.... (I repeated it a LOT at PBE)

sorry for the mix up on the pre-order, i guess i kept falling asleep when tony would talk about the financial stuff. Much like he does when i start talking about the boards

Minimag03: We have had talks about this. the short is, it should be possible, but i cant confirm either way at this time (sucks i know)

Also it was great playing out their with No Mercy and everyone else at KC Crusaders!
