Funny thing is, i shot a chrome and it shot amazing. Hopefully this marker is a pretty big hit, would love to pick one of these up if the price isn't too crazy.

"Dwell Adjustment?
This marker is Auto-timed, partially because the valve design is self-controlling, mechanically. A long dwell doesn’t produce any more velocity (fps) then a short one. The dwell is adjusted with a Hall Effect sensor that notes the position of the bolt and times the marker accordingly, only to make sure the cycle has been completed before returning the bolt."

I like that part.

Whoa. Would this make it the first gun since the Sandridge to detect the location in the firing sequence?

Yes. And I'm actually REALLY interested in this gun for this reason alone. I own 2 sandridges and they both shoot amazing, but you can tell it is a bit dated. I would love to see that idea applied in a newer more modern design.

i was literaly going to start a project like this this summer. this is not how i pictured it but this has been on my mind for the past 3 months. GGGGRRRRRR i can't wait cause i think this would be the best of both worlds spool and poppet. co-mingled

and just when I thought there were no guns I wanted to buy. Being a stack tube guy, and a guy that likes spool's smoothness, I cant wait. If they do pull off the hall effect adjusted dwell, I think this may become the new industry standard. All I am worried about is the build quality-it seems as though these new companies like to skimp on metal and build quality, I hope they do that right.

Hall effect worked amazing on the sandridge. The only issues happen when you adjust the positions of the hall sensors themselves. The sandridge had a mode where you could recalibrate it and I would imagine that this new J4 marker would as well.

Color me interested. Hoping they don't price themselves out of the market, Machine did and well look at how many people own one...
