Does Dye still own the rights to the spool valve? I wonder if Bob Long has to pay royalties for producing this engine. Any idea how that would work?

Dye owns the spool patent from buying out Gen-E/the Maxtrix platform. SP had the rights to electronic markers. That was my understanding.

Dye doesn't own the patent to all spoolers, just ones that cut off the air 100% to the dump chamber when it fires. Bob actually does a clever trick to get around it that also helps cycle the piston faster and backward. Very smart system. Bob knows his patents also, and had some good advice for us. One of the better spool concepts I have seen.

It's refreshing to know that different companies have been working together and not trying to sue eac hother out of existence.
