I like the idea a lot, it is something new in stagnant electro market. Will most people only use one of the bolt engines, probably but who cares. Bobs offering an entirely extra set of internals at what I can recall is no additional cost of the previous victory.

interesting... depending on price, might pick up the spool engine/valve/motor/whatever for my ripper...hmmm two questions i have: -as this seems to be a drop-in for all existing vics, will BL offer a multitude of anno options (for example, most rippers were custom anno combos..) -i've never been into spoolies (nothing against them - had a DM6 that was as smooth as buttah), i wonder if the perceived smoothness will negate the nasty habit some vic back caps have of popping-up when in use... kinda odd timing with the J4 idea so recently released

As far as I know, they've fixed the current engine issues, I assume that means the cap problems as well. | |

It is a gun idea, but I think BL should offer one or the other, not let you have both. Really, how many people are going to say, "for this tourny, I shall use the poppit engine.." etc. and then switch the next. If you are dropping serious cash for this, chances are you already own a wide variety of markers. This is MCB, after all. For me, it is "shall I be using the phantom or sniper2 today." I wouldn't really need a marker that could switch between the two. But do I want it? I'd take it if one was given to me Overall impression is that it is cool. Kind of feel bad for J4 though. Kind of appeals to their target market.Any news if it will work with other marq platforms? In case I wanted one for my closer... |

...which is exactly my point. By offering a stacked tube spool valve gun you get the benefit of a removable bolt from a conventional stacked tube poppet design. This BL seems to be an inline poppet or an inline spool. I am not saying the J4 is a hybrid, I am saying that the market share is probably independent from the Victory. |

This is great news because I just received my first V1 Victory two days ago. If the reviews are positive I might try one if I can get one for $160 or less. The SC engine costs $160 new and I'll bet this one will be at least that much, probably closer to $200. I also wonder if this will increase or decrease the value of my V1.
