Bob Long V-COM Victory

Includes both spool and poppit engines.

V-COM stands for "Victory change over motor."
Gun will come with Spool valve engine (backwards compatible with all other model Victorys, and will be sold separately as an upgrade) Original HE poppet inline assembly. MSRP $1250

I'm not sure I understand the point...other than it's shiny.

As a spool owner...spools seem [edit]mostly [edit] pointless. If you're just going for speed and efficiency why not just run a stacked poppet? Recoil?

Edit:
I can understand spools in terms of packaging where single tube is convenient, maybe ease of build on low end guns? Noise? but none of these seem to apply to tourney markers.

Saw this on pbn, I think the milling on the regulator should match with the Asa and body lines some how IMO

...why? Won't this drive the end consumer cost up for something most people will actually take advantage of? I bet the majority of second engines will collect dust in the tool box.

I could see this useful for those who are play a variety of playing styles and positions.

Scenario/Rec Ball/X-ball back player = poppit set up

Night game/ Xball / Front player = spool

I could also seeing it come in handy if one of your engines goes down you can throw in the other one.

Im interested in seeing if you have to adjust dwell or the LPR when switching.

You have to adjust the pressures for them each to work best. I forget off the top of my head what they are, but some adjustment is required.

I like the concept. Bob is bascially offering 2 guns in one. You have an efficient poppet or 'smoother' spool valve. Opens up Bobs market more.

Don't forget that these Victories will also have a LCD screen like the G6R's received in their update. And the engine is backwards compatible in all Victories.
