Ugly as sin, and it strikes me as cheap. If you want that old shocker drive train, either buy/build a shocker, or the Luxe, which in my opinion appears more refined.

wow, that thing is ugly as sin. the milling, body shape, design of the grips/foregrip rubber....i cannot find one thing i like about this, aesthetically, with the exception of the carbon barrel tip.

however, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I keep seeing this:

Honestly though, if it shoots as well as it is supposed to, does it really matter?

I'm personally a fan of it. I like the features it's coming with and it is no wear near as ugly as the new Ego

If I only read the features list I think: "Wow, this sounds awesome"...

The moment I see a pic all I can think is: "Ewww"

It looks like an uglified Proton with a $1500 price tag.

The other colours look pretty good. I think the black/red contrast is a little much, especially with the high gloss red and black rubber.

EDIT:

I think it's the little things that are killing it for me- the exposed screws on the foregrips, the chunky trigger (who's used a trigger design like that in the last 5 years that wasn't a low-end, anyway?), the ASA is monstrous... If I'm being honest even if it were the most gorgeous marker on earth I'd probably never buy it at $1500, but it seems like it just looks too cheap to carry a pricetag like that.

yeah, i was gonna say it looked like the gryphon....but i didnt wanna be THAT harsh lol.

agreed, the black and the gun metal do look quite a bit better than the red. however, i also agree the exposed screws do this thing no justice. finally, the asa....yeah, it just doesnt look good. i own an axe, and i dont mind it on there. but that huge, chunky asa just doesnt fit with the rest of this markers' aesthetics.

Yes it does. I can get a marker that will shoot just as nice (likely since the internals are VERY close to a Luxe) that is also MUCH better looking for the same price or a few hundred lower. The Lube monitor is not something I need. I clean and lube the drive train of all my markers after each day or two of play or once a month if the marker has not been used.
