Actually the way you hold it the macro fitting will get in the way just as much as the macropipe would. Honestly it will make no difference. In any case you'll get to hold one at some point.

I'm not sure what you mean about a weaker frame - you assume PE didn't think of that:

The grip-frame itself has been strengthened to make it less susceptible to twisting under excessive impact

What gets me the most is that PE weakened a already weak frame with this gas line, I could see it twisting and causing major issues. Granted you can run macro but it still does not make the frame any stronger.
You shoot your gun like that? with your thumb off the trigger frame?

Mostly because this is MCB and I know that we like to tinker, I came up with an idea. Would need a thicker frame, new reg swivel and new reg cover, but it'd eliminate the AT tube some people seem to dislike

I want to know why Eclipse didn't at least run the airline like you have in the first picture. It would make it look sooo much better.

I'm sure jack has his reasons. Most likely because it's better to vent gas from the front if the frame gets bent than straight through the frame. I like how it looks with the AT tube, but I was thinking if it would've been possible to rout it differently.

There's not a whole lot of room from the look of the cutaway to run a line like that either.

He could have just used a 90* fitting on the current output on the guard and ran it up the frame if that had anything to do with it.

Maybe someone can come out with a replacement hardline to hug the trigger guard and reg. That would be nice.

Fell asleep watching that video. Nothing struck me as functionally new. Did I miss something or is it the expected 2013 Ego with all the expected gimmicks?

Internal LPR and the new lever valve are the highlights. Theoretically the lever valve is smoother, so make for a quieter shot and a smoother overall feel. Less force is I understand it correctly.
