| my favorite cheats to perform were:
lying to the other team
encouraging excessive shooting penalties
I once got to listen to a ref explain to two opponents who I had just shot, that I had "lied" (about what team I was on) but I hadn't "cheated" as there was no rule against doing what I had done.
And, I think I have the record of giving the other team excessive shooting penalties in the NPPL with 2. Both times, all I did was exit the field slowly, while engaging in legal behaviors designed to infuriate my opponent. Then I would complain to the ref. I knew that if I got hit at least three separate times after the ref called me out, he would HAVE to issue a penalty...
Enraging my opponents was probably my number 1 paintball skill. I'd taunt them into insanity (I was so good I drove my teammates mad sometimes too - collateral damage) and then clean up the mess. You can't do that stuff these days - games are too fast and they got rid of smacktalking... |
