There is no shift in ownership. NPPL still owns the league...they are hiring out PB Promotions to coordinate and run the games. NPPL is still maintaining control of everything else.

Here is the line from the OP

The NPPL has signed an exclusive licensing contract with Paintball Promotions Inc to operate and run the National NPPL events.

the company just brought in around 230,000 in entry fees from 1 event. How can they really be hurting? Unless they are totally mismanaged, how can they be on the brink of dying?
