You may optionally depress the detent with one hand to pour paint, but manually thumbing in the balls one at a time will automatically bypass the detent if you push them from the front. The last ball will rest comfortably under the detent under almost no spring load. You can force an 11th ball in, but I would only do that for a mag you are about to load for a 10+1.

Once the first tube is loaded repeat with the other side. Not too different from other paint mags all told

I follow ya.

The rod and cap will have to be seen to really know how I feel about that.

Is there a way to depress the follower without using the rod?

I'm getting really close to ordering a pair of these. Reeeally close.

Haha, I get it now... Scott from Zetamag is THAT Scott. I remember you from the heyday of the MSEP forums and some of your other mods. Great to see you link up with someone with manufacturing capability to get things out en-masse.

Thanks, it's been a long time coming.

Looking forward to Friday at CPX, can't wait to see people get to use these first-hand.

I love how everyone is saying things like "Yeah, I'll probably order 1 or 2" and "maybe I'll pick up a TPX again so I can try these out"

Then theres me...I don't own a TPX right now and I just put in an order for 12

You obviously have a bigger plan than some of us.

My only reason for hesitation is I remember the excitement of my previous magfed experiences... Followed by the frustration .

But, since the description Scott's given has implied the rounds in the mag aren't under pressue when the mag isn't loaded, and the obvious lack of a large slot to let dirt and moisture in, I'm a lot more confident these will have fewer issues even than the stock mags. I also know from his projects on MSEP that he's not the type to release something that's crap.

Oh make no mistake, you know me too well for that!
I'm getting 2 to see if I like them.... Then I'm buying the other 38 if I do
I carry 24-30 mags in a big game and wouldn't change that, plus extras and loaners!
I have over 40 tru-feeds, if these pan out I'll have that many of them as well.
I got folks to shoot!

Although it would probably not be feasible, it would be cool if there were some type of exchange thing where one could send in their 7rd mags for these shiny new ones (plus a fee of course :P)

Wow, it took 11 pages for someone to ask about a trade-in program for a 3rd party product. If Tippmann had put these out themselves I'm sure it would have been demanded on page 1.

Why would a company offer you anything for a product that's not even theirs?
