I'm not throwing away any of my old TPX mags. They still have a place, such as last-ditch mags or to loan to friends, or in my case, if I'm running the pistol strictly as a sidearm... But even then I'd have zetas on my rig to reload with.

That's why it's probably not feasible :P I'm just a wishful thinker!

I like it. The detent looks like I can hold it back without using a fingernail. Less open on the sides, I like the 5 and 10 indicators. Just enough to peek into it, I'll mark on the spring with some bright paint where it sits with 3 or less rounds in it.
I like the beveled edge on the bussiness end, slapping a mag in without looking gets a touch easier.
I have no idea, yet, what I'll do with/without the dust cover.
I'm glad to see the 2 metal screws, the smaller pics had me afraid they were only snap fit.

What is the slide switch for? Manual release/lock for the follower?

I believe that is how you pull the detent back.

Lanyard loop on the caps is a nice touch. Won't have to worry about losing them now.

Still trying to figure out what you would attach them to though...

If you attach them to your rig then they would have to come off before putting them in the gun...the bottom is then exposed.

If you want to keep it on while its in the gun, then what do you attach it to so that you are not getting tangled with it?

I am thinking it might just be easier to drop them into a dump pouch?

One attached to the lanyard mount on the handle, and one above/below each mag in it's holder? Sounds like something we'll all do differently depending on the different ways we play.

Since it's away from the detent in it's "rest" position, I doubt it. Pull "up" on it to pull it back doesn't seem right to me. And the knurled edge on top of the detent looks like you wouldn't need that.
