Saw this on Facebook the other day and damn this looks cool. It is just a prototype at the moment but the ability to use zetamags in not only a TiPX but a Phantom? How cool is that!!

Except for First Strikes, IF it will feed, I see no advantage for this over a 10 rd. tube.

Allows a phantom to be played in 'magfed only' games AND you it also holds 20 rounds versus 10 or 15.

2 tubes take up less space than one of those magazines. When I'm about to run low on paint, I have the next tube in hand. I can reload a tube with a gate faster than that mag can be extracted, rotated and reinserted, I'd wager. That's why I never could justify a mag gun, no matter how hard I tried. The mags are just inferior to 10 rd tubes in weight, bulk and simplicity.

quick reloading?

interchangeable parts between one platform and another means less things of ammunition on you which can't be carried over to the other platform for whatever reason there's an issue and ya need a tissue... I believe.

I agree that on a phantom it's pointless, but imagine this feeding warp-feed style into a cocker?
Uhhh, yeah.

Consistent feeding. No more rocking. I have a hammer 7 and I like it.

yeah, the big advantage is the force feed on the paint. This would allow you to pump in nearly angle and still be able to chamber a round. And if you use a TiPX as a sidearm, then compatibility is a plus.

I wonder if it would also accept standard TiPX mags too?

I'd think you'd have issues with chops/double feeds. Breech drop guns like the phantom can be pretty rough when spring/force fed unless you're very careful about how much tension is on the ball stack.
