Here are some pics of my droid, Used it this weekend at a T.A.W game,( underworld)
right out of the box it was +-2 at 275. I was able to shoot 2420 shots off my 114/4500 at 4000 psi, and i ran out of paint still had 850psi left in the tank.I let my teamate shoot it and ran out of paint and still had 50 psi in the tank and there was no drop off when he came off the field. i was really impressed with the marker and barrel.

Sweet.

Welcome!

We, myself and my scenario team, go to TAW games in Nor Cal. Soon we hope to expand to the Oregon games too. If you ever get down to a Northern California TAW game you will definitely meet us and some other MCB members.

Ya' know....Those things look almost exactly like a DP Threshold.....

Lets see the guts.

Dp thresholds are more like a shocker to my understanding and were released in limited numbers.

Macdev makes an awesome marker in my opinion. I have an borg that I rescued from an abuser and even though its not shooting right(board issue) its still a tight marker.

I'm just getting into the electro world but man if this is even half as good as a borg I'd buy it. its still better then any junk SP puts out

The bodies and frames look so similar I'd just like to see some pictures. The limited run of 500 Thresholds produced seems like a heckuva waste of a lot of R&D so I'm just wondering if there wasn't some cooperation going on.

That's why I want to see droid guts.....

There are the droid internals. It has 20 orings, 4 of which move. The rest wear very little and are just there acting as seals.

Macdev and DP were not working together on this project if that's what you were wondering.

Yeah, there's so many things about the Threshold that don't make sense(like why make only 500?) and when I saw the Droid pics the body and frames looked like they could be the same marker or at least first cousins. It got me to thinking that maybe the reason there was only 500 thresholds was because the rest were droids.

Definitely not the case though, the threshold has about 1/4th the o-ring count.

The threshold is a more basic design. Ion style.

They only made 500 thresholds because they said "the milling was so extensive that it took us such and such amt of time per gun"

The idea was that they would make more of them later, with basic milling.

<shrug>

This doesnt function like an ion, besides that it consists of a single tube.
