From Bill Gardner on PBN:

Quote:
This is the type of fact less postulation that creates these ridiculous Internet rumors. You make a great deal of assumptions. Someday you will know that facts and we can continue this conversation. Your post has no bearing on the future of this patent application. In the mean time, I assure you that Smart Parts does not patent ideas that it does not originate.
That was a good one... made me almost fall out of my chair.

Wonder why he doesn't post here.

Oddly, thats pretty much how the APEX fires. Curious if Ben Tippmann bought the patent, or licensed it?

If you look around, there are lots of "backspin" patents. Bob Long has a patent for a barrel with holes drilled on the bottom. He released it in the early 90s, but it didnt' actually work.
There are patents for barrels with "friction pads" on the bottom half to incude spin, and all sorts of other oddities.

I made a response regarding something the judge said to him during the SP-vs-WDP trial. However I had to recite it by memory.

Anyone have transcripts? The judge scolds the Gardners for adding there name to the patent, when they were not actually involved in the design.

Schmitti would YOU respond on MCB knowing every thing you said would be picked apart under a high powered microscope and subjected to intelligent scrutiny and rebuttal?

Not to mention anyone just skimming this site let alone this thread would have to know in advance that the people on this site have such a depth of knowledge that they would drown the unwary and the foolish.

In other words dude doesn't want to be analy raped in the verbal sense. Which really is a pity.

HP, Bill probably just punched his brother in the face because of what you just wrote.... poor bastard just took a punch for you.

Mstrtal ... hell no... he will continue to market to the unimformed and try to get their support.. but he doesn't have the testicular fortitude to come here... without a lawyer.

I think I lost a few IQ points by reading that entire PBN thread. If it wasn't for the few quality posts by MCB members I'd be a drooling idiot by now.

Some of the good bits from JUDGE KING:
Quote:
Although Smart Parts is correct that
there is no specific requirement that inventors have engineering degrees or other formal training,
the evidence also strongly suggests that neither Billy nor Adam could have invented what is
claimed.
