I have emailed Gil about making one of his wire stock's to fit Sheridans, and I'm sending him a back plug to measure. If anyone is interested in one let me know and relay the message to Gil to produce more. I'll have a definite price when he gets to look at the sample plug, but should be the same as the Crosman one. | WWW.SIMONIZED.COM Join Date: Jan 2007 | Thanks for posting this! I grew up shooting air guns (it's all we had really after the fire arm ban) and loved it. I even used to compete at field target shooting, and helped support a friends Bird of Prey sanctuary with rabbit hunting... I've been looking to design and make my own air gun for a while. I was actually talking to a few people about it at EMR Castle just passed. Talking of which Bryan, thank you very much, the blue streak just turned up today. Is there much interest in air guns in the USA? It seems like just bb guns. My "old rifle" was a Theoben Rapid 7 that I tuned myself. If I hadn't been living in the UK *ahem* it might have had 27ft lbs of energy and been able to shoot thumb tacks at 60 metres... I wish I'd never sold that gun. |

| Newbie Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Vancouver, BC | I've got a great looking Silver Streak, and in a rare twist on MCB, I replaced it's trigger group and stock with ones from my KP-2. I originally was thinking of tearing the barrel off and making a pump-up pump gun, but it was just too pretty to kill. I just have to order some .20 pellets. None of the stores in walking distance carry the proprietary Sheridan ones.

I got one years ago used (seals were shot) that actually had the breach and rear portion of the barrel broken off the lower tube... would have been fine if the barrel was also not bent 5 degrees off true. In the UK there was always the concern of a semi falling into the laws on Fire arms, but things tend to be very different here, thankfully! Although NJ sucks when it comes to trying to buy an air gun... they won't let me have a Firearms permit, which you need to buy an airgun, as I'm not a "resident" or citizen So I can design and build paintball guns... but I can't buy an air gun... oh well that's one more reason to make my own. ![]() | |
