Yeah, it's ugly all right. But check out the msrp...79.99 vs. 119.99 for the ft 12. At least it is priced right....

Clam shell design again? I love how much easier the FT 12s are to disassemble.

i don't think so. look at that "bolt" above the trigger...i think it's still a "flip" design like the ft-12, it's just that the pivot has moved to above the trigger assembly. i dunno, i could be wrong...that feature isn't listed on it's description page. i guess it's just a mil-sim version of the gryphon then.

This is my fault.

About 9 months ago I left a 98 and an FT12 in the closet together. In the morning I checked and there were empty beer bottles everywhere, the back cap was missing from the 98 and not a barrel cover in sight.

Day maker!

Does anyone know if these (or the FT12 for that matter) have 98-style barrel threads? The FT12 images are a little confusing to me, they look like they could be or they could possibly use some newer proprietary design. If these do take 98 barrels, this could be a fun little platform to mess around with for cheap.

The FT-12 takes 98 as where the Cronus takes A-5.
