OLED can give you lots of on demand info, the best example is the MacDev Clone GTi. Other than that they would come in handy when you need to make a quick change. For example one of the larger scenario events I attend has random firing mode speed changes 13.5bps cap one time, 15bps ramping the next. Last event was 15bps cap with no ramping.

Since I leave my Tac Drone capped at 10bps to save paint the selector switch on the DFndender would have taken care of that. BUT they want to charge you $1200 it needs to have some extra bells and whistles! Battery level meter and whatnot.

Yup, $1300 is a lot, but that is a lot of marker. I love the selector switch; that's a big reason I use an Mtac as my favorite milsim marker.I have no expeience with the Z2 loader, but I love my axe. I very interested in one of these.
Hustle doesn't have one at their location YET afaik.

That video was taken at world cup, though I'm sure they'll do their best to smuggle one back to Colorado for you to check out

Seemed to be less than, say, an a5.

Jackal, did you hold it while fully loaded (so paint plus tank)? How was the weight distribution? Did you need it to be shouldered for any sense balance, or was it pretty decent? I actually think they're pretty cool little set ups. Price doesn't bug me. First one through the breach and all...

I can see this taking off in the scenario/ milsim side of paintball but that's about it. $1300 is a lot for a paintball marker, but you are getting a paintball marker, and hopper all in one!?! I know if you showed up to a magfed game you would not be allowed to play. Call it what you want its still a hopper fed marker.

No, I held it empty and without a tank. However, the tank sits very far back. The balance, for me, was ideal. I prefer my guns a bit back-heavy for the sake of mobility. The setup WAS a bit longer than I'm used to (I often play with small pump guns running a 13ci), but not so long as to suffer from straight-arm-syndrome. It felt very much like holding a speedball setup with a 68ci on a duckbill, just with a bit more "stuff" nestled in the crook of your arm.

It looks freakin cool in person, too. FAR more real-steel looking than anything else I've seen w/ a hopper involved. Looks almost f-2000-ey.

Hmm. My feeling on this is similar to the warp feed. It's a neat, innovative idea, and taking the hopper off of the top has definite advantages, but the attempts to put a full 200 round loadout elsewhere on the gun seems to add too much weight, bulk, and cost to justify the minor profile advantage over traditional hoppers.

But we shall see.
