Yep, Ashton opened the field up for us on a Thursday. After 4 cases of All Star and 2 cases of retail evil, we called it a day

I checked one out at my local shop today. It's pretty neat, but overall larger than I expected. Definitely not my sort of thing, but pretty neat in its own right.

So... hate to threadjack with a relevant question, but did anyone else notice the bit about the T-slot rail?

It's a Relay On/Off regulator, but it's a T-slot? Anyone get a good look at that?

Seconded. Seems exceptionally well built, extremely sturdy, is really light, and design concept is way cool, but ergonomics seem to have been geared more for insect-like space aliens or contortionists than for human beings. Most uncomfortable and awkward marker I've ever held or shouldered, with no close seconds.

Having had it in the hands, my suspicions about sighting are now completely confirmed. Indeed, it's actually a lot worse than I thought it would be. Even without a mask it cannot at all be comfortably sighted, and with a mask, forget about it. For my frame I guess a minimum of a six inch sight rail would be necessary to be able to properly sight.

Great concept in potential, but needs a redraft. A marker should make you want to handle it, not hand it back to its owner, as I did today, without even trying to shoot it.

Really hope the design behind it is better than the marketing team - honestly, spelling "assault" with two "U"s?

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them.”

It's often depicted as being used with a riser, but not as high as 6".

I wonder if that profile shot masks an offset sight. It would have to, assuming the model in the pic is actually looking through it, and not simply pretending to look through it.

Also, if my eyes don't fool me, that thing is not shouldered with the stock, but with the tank (or a combo of both), bringing it up higher.

This truly is one of those things that must be experienced directly to be properly appreciated. Trust me: Don't trust me, or anyone else (pun intended). Pick one up, use the Force, and trust your own feelings.

Handled one today. Loved the build quality, but the ergonomics were a bit funky for me. Maybe they'd get better with time or if I actually played with it and got used to it, but for now......seems a bit goofy
