Exactly. For the few of us around here who actually work out, it might be nice to actually perform useful work while doing so.


One interesting use for these pumps is to top up gimpy air fills at fields. You could use it to top up a gimpy fill on a 13ci tank -- which is reasonable to do, and that's where the low fills really kind of hurt you as well.

It's six bucks for a scuba fill, the tank and fill stain cost me $150 5 years ago. cool idea but not for me.

Hill Hand Pump

That is the one I have. You need to also purchase a 1/8bpt to 1/8npt adaptor as this specific model is made in the uk hence the British pipe thread. Or you can rethread it for npt like I did to mine.

These pumps have been around since the 1700's, I use high tech 12 gram cartridges, the wave of the future.

I have an older style crossman one and love it. It can fill a 13 ci in no time, but bigger tanks are a chore. They are on ebay for around 170$
