PSP Code of Conduct announced

Reading through this article, it doesn't feel much like a code of conduct.

PSP: Code of Conduct for the Pro field

What it does sound like is a massive improvement to PSP tournaments. This will help showcase a good snake players instincts and reward risk taking in the game. I believe this to be a bigger impact to the game than the reduction of fire rate that has already been announced.

I agree that this is a big deal. I don't know how I really feel about it, as I think both have advantages. But then again, I've never played psp, and I probably won't...

Wait... Snake players using instinct and skill instead of people pointing/yelling/screaming where everyone is?

I like that idea.

Its big, its a great idea as well. Should help stop the stalemates in the snake and allow those "look the back guy aint looking, so ima go blow the face off this other snake guy" type moves. Right now, you pop outta the bunker to go down the highway and their coach is screamin like he's got a hot poker up his ***...

I always hated sideline coaching. I said from the beginning that it would negate true skill. I hated playing against people at fields that allowed sideline coaching when I was in a 3 on 1. I couldn't maneuver around anymore and make those 3 punks look like fools. So much that I walked off the field a few times because of it. I just didn't feel like having 3 guys run up guns a blazin and light me up because of some punk on the sidelines.

Great change. And I'm happy to hear about the ROF cap again. Who needs to shoot 20+ bps let alone 10 people on a field doing it.

You realize that it's been capped at 12 bps for like 5 years right?

i am not sure if your ever been to psp event or nppl event. if you look at most games its all about slide line coaching to get team to win. since they have people telling them where they are at. so how is skill if some telling where players at or where they are moving too. it should be base on your skill to hear or see where some at or is moving too.

only certain divisions have sideline coaching. and yes, your coach is going to try and help you win. the rule change is putting it back into the hands of the players, i dont think anyone has disagreed that this change needs to happen

I like this idea, more of the recent tournaments have become more stalemates and who can stay alive the longest.
