If you can replace the solenoid, or make it activate manually, then I'm sure you could. Heck, the original Matrix was mechanical.

I may buy one, just because it's not an Ion.

I walked by it pretty quick. I think all I remember is that they were soldid colors. The basic green, blue, black and red. Didnt realize it was a new gun untill I saw this thread.

I saw these while at cup and must say they are pretty nice. They are a sear tripper and have a solenoid similar to an e-spyder or A-5 from what I saw. They have some neat features built in as well. There is a port on the bolt that uses equast gas to make it rotate so the sear wears the bolt equally on all sides. There is also a pressure relief built into the back of the bolt if it happens to be over pressurized. The Hyper III's are also using a smaller diameter and different thread pattern than the standard threads being used now. You can still order a Hyper III with the current threads. I've got some pictures I took but haven't had time to upload them yet, I'll get them up shortly.

How is it like a e-mag. Emags were blow forward with a e-frame. This is a spool valved gun.I don't see any thing similar?

The valve in the mag is basically a spool valve.

The proto rail (and ion) are also spool valves, and yet are blow forward just like a mag. Only difference is that instead of a metal spring to return the bolt, and a sear to hold it back, they have air directed to the front of the bolt sail pushing it back.

I'm guessing this gun operates just like an emag, though I wouldn't be surprised if the SLG uses an air return like the rail and ion instead of a spring like the emag.

You are correct it does use an air return and not a spring. I forgot to mention it my earlier post but according to a friend who took the tech class there are only two o-rings in the bolt that you will ever have to change.

Looking pretty nice, but I just don't like how the frame looks. The body looks good and nicely done, but the frame looks like something off of a Brass Eagle blowback or something.

More living proof as of late that the blowfoward design is still one of the best designs ever made. I acually could see this marker being pretty reiable and consistent. Hopefully its not as leaky as most spoolers....

Looking for all Canadians on MCB, building a list by province. PM me to be added to the list.
