do you think that with WGP closing the value of cockers will eventually go up? It seems like the rainmaker was like that. In a sense that "when you cant get it, its more appealing than it used to"

Eventually but it'll be a little while I think. But the market is flooded with cockers right now due to the price drops.

I don't think WGP is going anywhere. There is a big market for fast shooting, simple markers and they are dropping a buttload of them in the coming months. As long as WGP having stuff on the shelves at Walmart brings them enough income to allow them to keep making markers like the JOLE and the SR I'm perfectly fine with them having a line of disposable markers.

Kinda like with AKA and the Viking, from what I hear ( I'm a newer player ) is that AKA wasn't really that popular until they got ran out by SP...

Oh yes I know there are a few big guys like WDP sponsoring woods scenario teams. Everyone has to survive. Here's a big prediction. By next summer WGP will close their doors, WDP will come out with a low priced quality marker. All those VM/Spyder clone space guns will start drastically dropping in resale and retail. OH and the sponsored speedball teams will start taking lowend entry guns such as IONs and SLG guns as sponsorship and choke as they use them and have to promote them. LOL New trend in the market.

I've been saying this at my store since the ion came out. I have an SLG headed my way from Dye to test. I'll let everyone know what I think. I hate to say this but I do have an ion and the gun has never broken a ball and with my lucky 15 barrel kit I get chroned all of the time, cause of my long range shots and I'm only shooting 265fps.
This is my replacement for the SP gun.

They were just as popular before they got ran out by SP.

Crap WGP cockers made in the years post K2 sell out will never be worth much, they just suck, and arent good looking.

Maybe karni's, but e cockers in general are just lame and non valuable.

Well...It's Super Light. So not as light as an Ultra light but not as heavy as a Sorta light.

Seriously though, I'm not sure what the specs say but folks who have handled them say they are very diminutive.

Don't put anything past Dye. If they think folks will buy it, they'll make anything. I remember the first Titanium Boomsticks......They were like buying paintball gear from NASA.
