Looks like a glorified tipx to me. Neat, but seems to lack some features that I would want. On- gun ca would be the most notable. Cool nonetheless.

I feel the same way. If they come out with an air-in-stock setup like the T9.1 then I may be interested.

My thoughts exactly, tank in stock is a pretty major feature on my want list.

For those that do not want to click the link:

The new Tactical Compact Rifle or TCR, is designed as a versatile, reliable and affordable magfed option for the serious magfed player. The four key features include a versatile magazine system of three mags, two air sources, a compact modular design and the ability to convert into a standard hopper feed marker.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLl-GkEukSY

The TCR is built on the already successful TiPX platform and utilizes the Tru-Feed 7-Ball magazine, a new Tru-Feed 12-ball extended magazine that is First Strike compatible, and the popular 20-round Zetamag. The unique, easy access cam-locking system for 12g CO2 cartridges allows one handed loading from the left or right side, hidden behind the Picatinny rails. In addition, it also comes with a factory installed drop-down remote-line adapter.

The design also features a modular stock for future upgrades to an air in-stock design.

The TCR has a compact military, realistic look that is easy to upgrade with four Picatinny rails and modular components, for further customization. It also includes folding front and rear sights, a folding vertical front grip and an 11” high performance barrel.

Finally, for the ultimate in versatility, the TCR can be converted to use a standard hopper feed for non-magfed play. It truly is the most versatile magfed marker available today and is backed by Tippmann’s unrivaled 2 year Warranty and customer service. The new TCR comes complete with a 7-ball and 12-ball extended magazine and will be available later this year at a suggested retail of $349.

On Tippmann's site they also show a mag-feed adapter for the Model 98/Custom line of markers. It seems like a good idea to get more people to try mag play. They are showing it with a list of $49 for the adapter and two mags.

Edit: Arson beat me to it.

98 magfed conversion is a great idea. Also a great way for fields to get rental players in to magfed only games. Cool tech, and looks like it would make nice tinkerer fodder.

I like it...for once. I like that quick release too. I just hope nothing gets caught on it and a 12g comes flying out.

I'll be stocking it for sure.

Of course, after seeing that mag adapter I am thinking about what I can do to the Model 98 hanging on my wall. Hmmm, mag adapter, vertical adapter with a CCI 12 gram bucket changer, and a car stock....could be a fun marker to screw around with on the field.
