Because you can get it configured any way you want, it will be completely unique, and because brass.

I've always wanted a gun to blend the wonderful work of both CCM and Palmers. Personally I'm thinking this with a CCM 86 frame, palmers stabilizer reg, CCM no rise and an on/off run it in 685 or 680 with wedgits and I'd be good to go.

On the price, think about the cost of the CCM parts to build this. Not cheap. Then add the labor at California rates plus the material cost and there ya go. In reality they probably should charge more for guns (but don't tell them I said that!).

Maybe I'm alone, but I don't get it...

Options are cool and all, and I'm by no means trying to discourage anyone who wants one... I just don't see the appeal. Fixed barrel in a day that paint varies wildly, the most appealing thing seems to be that it uses OTHER companies' parts. Am I missing something?

I don't either, but i think its a matter of co-operative decency that is impressive to people because paintball as an industry is pretty dog eat dog eat skunk. I am kinda interested in this if it is 500 or less..... my bro told me after i showed him this....:

"a pump gun using the exact same parts and configuration that every Palmer's gun has used since 1985? ZOMG! TEH AWESOME!" (look for the sarcasm)

but that's why there are different strokes for different folks

Except it isn't. That's the point.

This is taking some of what people love about PPS and some of what they love about CCM and merging that together into something new. For those who didn't read the earlier posts, you can get a removable barrel option with cocker threading now too so no more fixed barrel issues if that is your thing.

I get why some might not like it but like you said, different strokes...
