Kevin Dubrow of Quiet Riot dead at 52...

I know some folks here are at least as old or older than me and they'll remember this singer and band. Quiet Riot was a huge band for me during my formative years. My condolences to family and friends.

Wow...for Christmas when I was 13- I got their Mental Health album (dating myself now!)
I decorate my walls with albums in frames, I will have to dig it out and put it up in memoriam!!

Metal Health was one of the first albums I ever had. I saw them in concert on the QR 3 tour.

Quiet Riot was one of my favorite bands (back in the day)...this is really sad news. 52 is pretty young, but not that young...especially when you consider the lifestyle those guys lived. That's high-mileage for a rocker of his reputation.

RIP Kevin

I saw them a few years ago at The Station in Warwick RI, the same place that Great White managed to burn down (I'm glad I didn't go to THAT show)...Kevin had a lot more "hair" than he had 10 years before. Sadly, from where I was standing I think the sex and drugs at his age were Viagra and Rogaine.
