For the umpteenth time, WDP sued SP for partial ownership of SP's claimed electro patent. WDP won partial ownership of the patent, but the validity of the patent was never addressed. At the same time, SP was {allegedly} violating Dye's unambiguous patent on the spool valve design with the Shocker. WDP also had a claim of violation of their programmable board. Dye, WDP, and SP worked out a little menage a trois in which (essentially) Dye agreed to allow SP to use the spool valve design, WDP allowed SP and Dye to produce or use programmable boards, and SP allowed Dye to produce electronically-activated markers. I never heard the financial consideration exchanged among those entities, so if anyone has that information (fat chance, I know), I would love to hear it.
