My question is what will NPPL do? Assuming that leagues are being approached by the industry as a whole, you'd think that there would be significant pressure on them to do the same.

Assuming you are right, that they are being approached by the industry and it's an organization like the PPMA that is spearheading this drive, they may be wanting to make it look like there isn't an industry wide conspiracy going on, but rather a common sense change being market driven (which I believe it is), so they are not going to all announce it on the same day (or even the same week).

But yes, it will be interesting to see how the other leagues will react.

Hurt - problem with those big red chonographs is that I believe they only display the peak ROF for the entire string of shots. So, if you are shooting at an average of 10 bps but you manage to sneak a shot in at a lower millisecond count, it'll display a much higher reading than what you actually achieved.

Also, reaching a certain ROF and being able to maintain it are entirely different things.

This is a good idea. I have played organised sports my whole life and now my boys are doing the same and I coach them in theirs. After every game it is mandatory as they try to remind everyone about fair play and sportsmanship. Man I must be getting old to have said that.

Faster than what? Surely you don't mean 12 bps ... almost anyone can break 12 bps with a little practice.

Remember, alot of us are old! With old fingures that don't work like they used to. I've never had an issue with hitting 12. 13 on the other hand
