I'm young, fit and can easily hit over that on a mech semi.
Here something that's kind of unrealistic but fun anyways-
If you can do it on a mouse you can do it on a super sensitive adjusted electro trigger:

Yep, but it's fun.

I usually don't cross-post but I think some information I just posted in a pneumag thread belongs here in the discussion of millennium:

I took a closer look at the rules of various series to check on this.
For NPPL as long as the trigger is not bouncing you can fire as fast as you like, so pneumags are OK.

For PSP there is a BPS cap but this cap does not appear to apply to mechanical guns with no trigger bounce. However there is a fairly grey area in which the rules talk about "trigger slop" which would be very difficult to judge definitively.

For Millennium there is a BPS cap and no exceptions, so mechanical guns capable of higer than the BPS cap would presumably be illegal. I do not know how they judge trigger pull timing of semi-only guns or mechanical guns.

This is an interesting angle on things. With the lower BPS caps, pneumatic triggered guns now are capable of significantly higher than rates of fire. Previously under a 15 bps cap, since the limits of human capability limited absolute 2-finger rate of fire, coupled with the practical applications of pneumatic triggers ruling out efficient 3-finger actuation, it wasn't such an issue. But now it's not so clear-cut.

The question is whether ramping is a worthwhile tradeoff for BPS. If not, we could see the pneu-trigger more commonly in tournament formats, as teams exploit the rules exceptions for mechanical guns.

Regardless, I think tournament series' really need to consider writing specific rules for high-sensitivity mechanical triggers.

The upshot, interestingly, is that for practical purposes, millennium now requires electronically controlled markers. Simply too many mechanical markers are capable of breaking 12 bps, sometimes by far. So they will either have to effectively ban those, or rewrite the rules to take them into account.

These are interesting times, this could be the rebirth of true semi and the death knell of ramping. Seems unlikely but who knows?
