Big trucker, what's the nubbin part? I realize it's a detent. It's just that this is the first I heard of them going on these.

no. they're detents that go in a groove in the barrel.

does the same as any detent. just differant design, cockers have screw in detents, spyders have the little nubins, tippmann has the v shaped thingy, old bkos used orings. tries to prevent double feeding and rollout with small paint.

Ah but cocker detents don't do the same thing... they both prevent double feeds, but cocker ones don't prevent rollouts :P

So these not only prevent double feeds, but roll out as well?

Correct-- all open bolt guns are like this, it's just that twist lock mags dont have the detent in the body, it's in the barrel

I want to call, but I'm in Boston, and time difference can be a PITA for me.
