Propaintball.com is for sale

Propaintball.com is for sale - One of the oldest domains in paintball... - PbNation
I saw this the day it was posted hoping a more experienced member would find it and make a thread with their opinion (if there is any) but no one did so I will. I personally don't know that site/domain, but I'm sure the older member will.

Yup, spent a lot of money on custom cockers and race frames on that site. They used to have some beautiful guns on there.

Question Holy Tabernacle !

Appraised at $20436.00 ?
Um hello ? I cant believe that any traffic you would get from it being 13 years old would bring in enough revenue to cover the cost of the domain name.
While it is being auctioned and they probably wont get that for it, that does give you an idea of what they are wanting for it. Whew !

Actually, appraisal is for $7,860.00 to $20,436.00, but, of course, they just listed the high number. The appraisal was done by a third party and seems to be just based on the fact that it has a simple name, and how likely it is to show up in google results. Other than a few people who remember the old free-flow site, it has no name recognition, so I just don't see the value. I'm surprised it's even hit the $6,600 mark (unverified top bid).

Blah, I hate going to that site and having to wade through all the BS. Whatever that site was, it's long gone and has ZERO traffic now, despite the posts on that other site. I guess it's true you can run any scam on there as long as the PBN guys get their cut.

You want to bring back an old website that's long gone but still remembered? Bring back pornopaintball.com
