Ha-yup.

She wasn't getting laughed at because she had a foggy lens or was shooting at a tree. She was getting laughed at because she's a high maintenance bimbo.

Oh, and Tom Clancy sucks.

Going to have to pass this on to Silver_Dragon.

She's a duel major: English literature and French literature; just got into grad school for English.

I think she'll LOL over this, namely because she plays and has a very different attitude about paintball.

"Do not wear nice clothes. Wear something you don't care about, like your boyfriend's clothes."

We all know how THAT relationship will turn out....
my history teacher once told me this is how women sees property in a marriage:

"What is mine is mine and what is yours is ours."

I think it applies here.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the reason people have been saying this for generations is because it is true?
So your argument is that even though medicine has improved greatly in the last 500 years, technology is doubling every six months in the field of computers, and life expectancy has doubled in the last 300 years - that every successive generation is worse than the last?

I think there are some flaws in your logic.

I think you are arguing like EVERY generation has before you - that because the next generation doesn't do it like you do - that it MUST be wrong.

Don't get me wrong - I don't like everything I see from the Millenials - but I know they are hard working (most of them work full time and go to school full time) and thoughtful (many of them - you need to remember were raised by their grandparents - because the X'rs are working 2+ to afford all their debt.

I think you need to spend some more time really getting to know THIS generation - before you comment on what the media and a few bad examples tell you.

I always wonder how many of the stupid make that claim. Not calling you stupid - but one thing that unites humanity is our ability to think we are superior to everyone.

that is true, but from a simple, scientific standpoint, using Darwin's theory of 'Survival of the Fittest' we currently lack most of the natural mechanisms which would weed out those unfit to survive.

On the other hand, we would also not have many great minds like Stephen Hawking.

However, aren't there days, when you would just love to reach across the counter at Starbucks and prove Darwin right?
