Of course. This isn't news, either.

I think it's actually 13.33, but if you really want to know, you can get the PSP rules for this season from their website.

So what's wrong with the ball rule? Too slow for some? I can't wait till we get back down to 10bps.
Later,
Blackrain

13 BPS, now why does that sound familiar? That was the cap back at the beginning of the electo arms race.

I am wondering why 13.33? Is this to allow everyone to go back to revvy's?

Probably so if you set your gun for 13 BPS, it will allow for a small percentage of being "off".

That's my guess.

I Agree that's why it's probably not a whole number. But why is it .33 not .34 or .35?

In my opionion .33 is too mathematically interesting to be a coincendence.

Assuming it's really 13.33333333333333333 (keeps going) then that translates to a cycle time of .075s

.070s=14.285714285714285714285714285714
.071s=14.084507042253521126760563380282
.072s=13.888888888888888888888888888889
.073s=13.69863013698630136986301369863
.074s=13.513513513513513513513513513514
.075s=13.333333333333333333333333333333
.076s=13.157894736842105263157894736842
.077s=12.987012987012987012987012987013
.078s=12.820512820512820512820512820513

So, My theory is they decided they wanted to limit bps to ~13. they decided .076 was shaving it too close that it would lead to too many un-intentional hot guns and went with .075.

I'm pulling this out of my ***

I believe the reason for it is so it corresponds to an even number in milliseconds.
