So if the attackers get the 5 they need to get past the 4 hr mark then the game goes on until the attackers win?

Yup... So that's why I personally "hold" the castle for the 4 hour mark. If I make it to the 4 hour mark, I consider it a win in my book... I then go and drink.

Sounds like the master plan.

EDIT: I dropped 1 case and a few pods last time. But I also have a paintchip leftover so I could theoretically shoot 4 cases.

I still can't believe that I shot a whole case at last fall castle. Four hours in the castle will be exhausting. Can't wait.

Oh, and as far as the 4 hours thing. Yea well attackers need to get yet another item out of that Castle. 1/2 the items in those 4 hours. I really don't think that's quite the same as a guaranteed victory. It's hard enough getting one out per hour. Let alone all in required time. This requires a little more than 1 item every other insertion. Not an easy task.

So you are looking for a garanteed win then?

The way I see it, the game is for the defenders. If they hold the castle for the time alloted, with the holding of certain items, they win.

In the past, it was tweaked mid game so it just kept going until the defenders lost.

With a solid 4 hour time limit, I dont see many defences holding. I also see it as a way to get more paint to sell.

Hey, I'll fill pods for the team, if I can get someone to mount that pod filler to something sturdy.
