KEE AUCTION SPORTS to distribute Crossfire.

KEE ACTION SPORTS ADDS CROSSFIRE TO ITS PORTFOLIO OF PRODUCT OFFERINGS

KEE Action Sports is proud to announce that it will distribute the entire range of Crossfire air systems starting March 19, 2008.

"Crossfire has for a long time been seen as one of the top manufacturers of this genre of product, and we see this as a great opportunity to complement our own range of air system products with another market leader," said Johnny Postorivo, KEE Action Sports' Vice President of Sales.

Said Chris Havlock, President of Crossfire, "I am very excited to have KEE Action Sports distribute out brand. Their sales staff is very knowledgeable of out products, and the combination of the two leading air system brands under one roof will be a plus when it comes to one-stop-shopping for our customers. KEE is working hard to offer the best products in paintball from their world-class distribution system, and I am confident KEE will do a great job representing our brand."

George Eurick, President of KEE Action Sports, noted, "KEE Action Sports continues to strive to be the number one resource for all paintball equipment needs, and this newly acquired product range from Crossfire enhances our position with regards to air system products. The Crossfire addition to out portfolio will give our customers the most comprehensive choice when it comes to servicing the most discerning players."

KEE Action Sprots is the proud worldwide distributor of RPS paintballs, Diablo Paintballs, Pure Energy Air Systems, Crossfire Air Systems, Empire, Halo, E-vents, BT Designs, Angel, Invert, Piranha, Shocktech, and Redz Comfort Gear.

some key things i dislike that lead me find another tank.

genre of product. I thought genre was typically used to discuss literature not air tanks

brand. lame marketing term that is usually associated with something broader than an air tank

world class distribution. fedex?

discerning players. um yeah w/e, i just need a tank that won't explode

The problem is that KEE already distributes so many tanks that they have no need for another. This is all about market control. Now that they are the sole distributor they can force Crossfire to drop distributor prices which will either cause Crossfire to go out of business or start making crap tanks and regs to allow them to make a miniscule profit to stay in business. I vote for the former because these big companies have shown time and time again that the only reason they enter agreements with smaller companies is to capitalize on the name and reputation of that company and put crap products out with that company's name on them or to squeeze the life out of that company to eliminate competition. As the old saying goes: "With friends like these, who needs enemies?"

Or, they will have all their stuff seized and not see a penny. NPS was known for that kind of carp. Either way I will be paying attention. Good thing I just hydrod last year.

My guess is this is the first step to acquiring the Crossfire name and eventually shutting down Crossfire operations so they can slap the name on their less expensive tanks.

Hi,

From what I have seen of Crossfire tanks, they should have been with NPS months ago. My dealer stopped selling them because of the number of failures he was having with them. Even he was shocked to see a descent, quality tank go downhill so quickly. Many tanks that were returned had metal shaving coming from the pin valve. Others were first time fill burst disc. He had a tank that blew up at a 1000 PSI out of the low side burst disc! That was my friend's friend who was just getting into paintball. (I think he was a virgin at the cold ass game this year ) I think my dealer went to Pure Energy tanks now on the basis he could get them from distributors and the tank actually better than it once was.

Later,
shaggy
