Now it seems to me that it shouldn't be too hard to find a stolen trailer, assuming it still has the original license plate.

Is there any big BYOP scenarios coming up? That's where I'd start looking, find the guys with pickup trucks filled with cases...

Yes & No. There's 2 unfenced junk yards down the street from them where they could snatch a commercial plate no problem. Plus Pinellas County where this happened is pretty much an industrial county, that part of the woods anyway. Warehouses everywhere.

I think the person knew what he was doing & where to hide the trailer.

Funny thing too, the landfill is right next door to KEE, that's where they dump the paint that's bad. Police have been called many times to kick kids out who hopped the fence to grab paint.

Maybe a call to tugboater to find out how's it going....

Someone should photoshop...where's Hacker.....driving a big rig pulling a trailer loaded with paint.....

If Tommy did it....up in my area is different....horse county.....I would park it in the middle of a hay barn and stack hay around it...

Or as seen in the past....dig a very large hole, back the trailer into it and unhook....cover nicely with dirt.....lay low....

I'm agreeing that Smartparts could be into hijacking loads of paint to boast profits....I'll have to look it up at the USPTO to see if the applied for the patent to steal....well at least a new patent...

Just drive around neighborhoods, looking for someone painting their house with paintballs.

That's your man!

Look for some oddly familiar whitebox at a field or store near you...

Dang, that sucks. 5000 cases is a lot of inventory to lose.
