What I meant by the following of the levitical laws of clean and unclean meats, is that I adhere to that, not the extra stuff added by Jewish tradition (like burying a knife in clean earth) Many other jewish people don't go much further than the torah either. I'm just saying if it is good enough for either Halal, or Kosher, it would be good enough for me. Rabbi's aren't Catholic, they don't "bless" unclean meat to make it suddenly clean. It either is, or it isn't.
