India is a secular state with a lot of Hindus. Pakistan is and Islamic state. That's how the British separated them. Here is a decent article on the events:

edit: Oops, just read the article again about the HALAL crap...sorry, it's a touchy subject for me, I have a LOT of friends from India and I hate it when they're confused with terrorists. My screen name is Hindi by the way...

sweet, I was going to start a muslim milsim team, and that paint seems perfect. We would be playing opfor (oppsing forces) in modern sceanrios, we would be wearing matching turbans and civilian clothes. I'm all about painting the infidels with this new kind of paint! ulululululululululululuululululululululul!

I don't think the article behind Going Home's link, or any of the posts above yours, even implictly linked the location of the manufacturing plant (India) with the fact that the paintball fill is 100% HALAL certified.
