EMR = NO SMOKE GRENADES!!!!!

Velcor will smite all of your paintball equipment if you bring a smoke grenade to EMR.

Just a quick note on the quality of Refs at Hell Survivors. This was posted about Mars(the injured Ref) by a regular player, Delta Ops team captain and the Organizer of the Day of The Rangers Scenario, Deacon, yesterday on another forum:

FYI - Mars and Pariah are the same person. I talked to him yesterday; he has been released and is doing okay, but is rather sore. He told me he intends to be out at HSI next weekend.
This guy has a major set of stones - he helped me with first aid on Jeff even though his left side was covered with lacerations and bruises, and his upper lip was cut through to the gums from the nose down. I keep asking him if he was okay and he'd say "I'm ****ed up Deacon, but let's take care of this guy first". I makes me feel good to know that he is out there if anything ever happen again.
That's why for 20 years, when I play a commercial field, I have driven past an average of 2 or 3 other fields to go to HS, without a regret!

Those things are disgusting. A guy at my field makes his own. While it's cool he does that it annoys me because nobody can see where they're shooting and they smell terrible for a while.

Yes, there is a video. It will NOT be released out of respect for Jeff, Mars and their families. I will tell you that I did see the video, and I have had nightmares the last two nights from it. Maybe it is just because I know all the individuals involved (the injured player is just an aquaintance), but it deffinatly shook me up, and numerous other people there.

Jeff was released from the hospital and is currently staying at his parents house, and despite the prescriptions, is from what I hear, still in alot of pain. There is no word on his eyesite yet, however I am told they are optimistic.

We are going to be doing a fund raiser for both of them, however Mars has said he does not with anything, I say he deserves a medal for his actions, and a new pair of sunglasses as well (he had a really nice pair that were destroyed in the blast).

Information on this can be found on the HSI forum.

Sorry to tell you, but the police released the video.
Man injured at Pinckney paintball site describes explosion - Latest from the Ann Arbor News - MLive.com

Mmm, being considerate of the victims...
I'll admit I watched it, but is there any reason that needed to be released?

EDIT: Now that I've watched it, why did they approach it? Seemed to be working fine as he approached it, then it got louder and exploded half a second later. I mean, clearly if they're going to be confident enough to allow it on the field, they should be confident enough to stand near it, but I thought there was a report that a malfunction of the device caused them to approach it. If there was in fact that little warning, that makes this event even more frightening.
