Just a thought, I don't know if it's legal in PA or not but I went to a van show and each club there raffled off a cooler full of booze maybe we could do something like that with the crowd I have seen at Castles past I bet that would be a hit.

Either way I will talk to the wife about some baking and I will bring down some maple syrup and check through the gear bag.

Don't forget everyone bring extra money to buy raffle tickes, auction items and brownies! O wait the wife makes great guiness brownies!

I'm in.

Two years ago, when Joe needed help, Simon donated a sweet "Scarlet Kingsnake" Phantom to the Spring Castle gear auction. I bought it for the sum of $300 plus an additional small donation and credit card fee. Simon had got it from a previous charity event and simply "passed it forward." I have played with it occasionally since then and put a few eliminations on it. It has served me well and I have enjoyed my time with it.

Given similar circumstances, it is my humble honor to donate the gun once again.

I will donate the following gun to the auction at Spring Castle this year:

EDIT: It will also come with an 11" nickel CCI barrel and a set of detent rings in addition to what is shown.

If we need to set up a PayPal account for donations, I can offer mine if nothing else is available. I will offer to match any fees PayPal takes so that we don't lose any money. Still, I would encourage anyone that can make it to Castle to simply bring cash/check there for simplicity's sake.

Drum, I think you should cross-post this at SCP when you get a chance.

I am sure Amanda would be willing to bake some goodies for the benefit.

Drum - Can you get this site to the family.
Insurance Info
It is run by Rich Hankison who has 24 years of experience in group insurance and employee benefits. He has offered his assistance to anyone that needs help getting benefits. Maybe it'll help.

Also Drum, can you crosspost this on the PBN thread, :OFFICIAL: EMR's Castle Conquest XXV - PbNation. If you don't have an account, I would be happy to do so for you.

TM, that is awesome. A deep bow in your direction.

Sloonan, please do cross post this over at PBN, as I have never had an account there. Thank you. I did put this over at SCP, in the CCXXV forum, but feel free to move it if you think appropriate, TM

Thanks again for all the support. Nothing is quite so sudden and stunning as the immense generosity of our greater paintball family.

Y'all rock!

Talked with Suz and she said that something will be baked for the sale. She also said this sucks and hopes that Rich gets well... and that the insurance company pulls it's collective head out of it's ***... okay she didn't say the last bit, but she was shocked and I could hear that in her voice

I've got a Freeflow Rythm body complete with internals, if anyone would be willing to donate a slider or hinge frame I'll buy a CCM pump kit, asa, and cp reg and throw the whole works into the auction.

Let me know what you've got...

Set up a PayPal account "In Trust". I'd chip in even though I don't know this guy. There is no other way for me to help out as I live in Canada.

I see it now. I guess I just missed it is all.
I'd say it's good where it is and even so, I don't have the power to move it. I'm just a "mod lite" and the only thing I can really do is kick out the occasional troll in OT. Ever since Chem implemented the signup restrictions, we haven't had any infiltration anyhow so... it's kinda meaningless.

Still, I'm just happy to help out and that's all this is.

I knew when I bought that gun that I was really just borrowing it. It's too cool for me to hoard and besides, I'm a player, not a collector. I'm just happy that I can pass it on and that it can keep helping out our "family." It's got a cool history behind it and I'm proud to have been a part of it.

Besides, if I feel any remorse about hot having more than one Phantom it always gives me an excuse to buy another one, right?

I have always wanted to build a "Harlequin" Phantom with every part a different color like the old VWs...

Very cool! It's great that we as a community come together to help out when our friends are in need. I believe that gun originally came from RamboPreacher.

I'll be bringing some stuff up for the Auction too.

I posted this on the PBN thread.

Also I spoke with Jeff at Midstate Paintball Supply (247 S. Main St., Manville, NJ 08835 908-722-9798) and he wants to help out. Even without knowing Rich he offered to donate something for the auction. I am not 100% sure yet what he is grabbing for the auction but he said maybe a tac vest. I hope it's ok if I put out some of his cards at the bake sale table considering his generousity.
