You must have permission to post pics of someone else. This was almost never done, and kind of hard to enforce. As for it was only done in private messages. I find that highly unlikely. Now, I was in class all day when this happened and came home to watch a movie with my significant other about 7:30-8pm. So around 10-11pm or so TB hits me up on IM. He was kind of pissed at me because I did not tell him about all of this earlier in the day. (sorry TB, but brownies and the girl > PBN drama) Ok so after being outscooped by someone even though I am no reporter. I was in the PBN staff irc chat al day but was not paying attention. Occasionally I would see posts about "the thread". Eventually I was told what happened about the same time PBN made their posts public. So why make them public? Why not ban the actual Mods in charge of that section? Why let these threads go on for years? Seriously, when you cater to punkass kids, you will get punkass kids. How they could not see this over the last few years is kind of amazing. I have already been banned over there for posts I made here, pbf, wotb. They have even contacted the admins at other sites trying to get us banned. Good luck with that. They can't even keep me banned on their own damn site. However I have better things to do than make 50 more accounts to go somewhere I don't want to. However, I will continue being myself and speaking my mind. Thats the rub. If you do not **** with me or mine, then you shouldn't have a problem with me. I disagree with a lot of folks. But I will not censor them, ban them, or delete them. Hope that clears some things up

| MCB Member | I love how even though members are on a "temp ban" they still can win the ASM contest ending tomorrow....WTH Its like when I put my kid on restriction for 2 weeks, but a dance is coming up. "Sure you can go to that but your still on restriction the next day"..... Way to teach being accountable for your actions

According to some posters HERE, the activity was going on for far longer than it was addressed and, if you go over to WoTB, you'll see that, despite the chastising by ER, its still going on. I don't think this one is going to get brushed under the rug. I don't think there's a big enough rug anywhere in the world. The BIG issue is access/provision of this material to MINORS. Nothing more, nothing less. That's the point you seem to be missing.

It might just be your big break, the one that changes your life forever. A fresh start? Feel clean again. |

It doesn't matter what your personal viewpoint on the appropriateness of such activity is (I personally think that half our problem is the society's generally regressive/repressive attitude to such. A good example (non pornographic) is the comparison of alcoholism rates in the US, where minors are not allowed to drink at all - outside of very limited religious ceremonies - and France, where a lot of folks were given wine as soon as they were old enough to hold a glass. Significantly, there are far more alcoholics in the US than in France...) the law is, not allowed to do it. if a business, either deliberately or inadvertently, becomes an enabler of such illegal activity, they are engaging in an illegal activity. "I didn't know what was going on" is not a mitigating excuse. |
