That was awesome!

I too think the paintball bit didn't really fit. I mean, Halo fans aren't really going to think that it looked like anything from the game and I bet the people that didn't recognize what the music was from were really confused.

Is it just me, or did it almost look like he was trying to paint a smiley face?

If given any power tool and/or piece of gardening equipment, Bruce could find at least 7 ways to kill you with it. This does not include chainsaws. There is only one way for him to kill you with a chainsaw and that is brutally awesome.

I thought that as well. "Trying" being the word.

the most suprising part to me is that a group of kids and adults in this country had the attention span to sit through more than six minutes of music.

I haven't played halo either but thats not a bad piece of music.

Right on, Obeastly! Kids nowadays...

As for Halo, it's an incredible game series, and the music is awesome to boot. For some reason, there's an intimate tie between Halo and Paintballers. I find that many people I know will play Halo before a paintball outing, play after an outing, or listen to the music on the way there/back. If you play the game and enjoy the music, I highly suggest picking up the soundtracks. I usually listen to either alternative or drum & bass, but the Halo albums nearly always find a way into my daily listening schedule!:

Never played HALO, or hell Mario for that matter, and the Paintball Part should be left out but that being said, WOW! Those kids can rock and the girl Playing the violin is simply amazing.

This just gave me an idea. If I ever get to go to a scenario I'm going to see if I can make Spartan armor. Anyone feel like being bunkered by the Master Chief?

Already done, Trracer! We played in the 2004 Halo scenario at Action Pursuit Paintball in Greeley, CO. The rules were that the Master Chief could only be taken out by headshots. For the Covenant, the 5 guys who were Hunters were allowed the same ability, however, they could only carry a hopper full of paint at any one time on the field. The Covenant also has little kids playing as Jackals, who were allowed to carry "energy shields" (round plastic snow saucers). This is a Photoshop image of us against a Halo screenshot of the Pillar of Autumn. From left to right:

My buddy Ian with his red Viking; Me with my Phantom and Aussie hat (I was the Sniper Marine); My buddy Jay, the Master Chief in his Air Force flight suit, black chest armor (looked like something out of He-Man with the ribbed muscles), knee pads, elbow pads, hand guards, and even the gold-colored lens on his mask, toting my old black Impulse I sold to him; finally, my friend Greg with his red Impulse and Aussie hat to boot. Jay really did look like the Master Chief in person, it was a pretty quick costume and had a nice effect.
