A look at Bob Long's M-Tac scenario marker

Terry finally posted some pics and info on a new Bob Long marker I have mentioned here a time or two. This thing is pretty neat. Kind of a high end approach to mil-sim, it is all machined from billet with some unique touches. Novelties such as mechanical levers that actuate the electronics, an exposed "breech" that gives a peek at the new Marq engine, internal air line routing, and configurable feed options were included to enhance the experience. One thing that Terry does not mention in the thread, is that the "hand guard" shown in some of the pictures is removable and hollow, but seals tight to the barrel just forward of some rearward barrel porting. If some batting or other material accidently finds its way into this space, it sure makes the marker hard to hear

Pretty cool stuff and its nice to see some mil-simesque still guns coming out that offer an improved operating system.

I was told that this picture was "eyes only", but since Terry spilled the beans with full pics of a completed M-Tac on PbNation, here is one for the more sophisticated crowd. If I suddenly turn up dead.........BOB LONG DID IT!

NICE! I like how it's not really a copy of any existing real world design, so it doesn't so strongly resemble anything currently out there in the sim market.

It looks beefy and manly.

Its based off the Marq platform, which means its going to shoot AWESOME.

I think we're going to see a lot of cameos of this one in cheap action and sci-fi flicks for years to come.

That thing is pretty mean looking, not a milsim fan but it's nice.

Looks like any M16/M4/Car15 variant. I am not a fan of the milsim dressup, but that looks better than anything on the market.
