The profile in the picture looks a lot like a Tiberius pistol. Wonder if its just another rebranding.

I thought exactly the same thing but didn't want to clutter the news post with my suspicions. I'm thinking they're trying to move more units by adding the Tippmann name and distribution channels to the existing gun.

Or the machine that owns Tippmann bought Tib.... just like they bought the grenade company last year. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Tiberius is located in Fort Wayne, just a few miles from the Tippman factory...

pure speculation, though.

Haven't heard anything about Tiberius being acquired by anyone over on the T8og... It could just be a re-branding or a marker built by Tiberius for Tippmann...

look how tall it is, though, makes me think it might function like the AGA .62 using a springfeed tube under the barrel.

Agreed about the profile; but perhaps this is slightly different by using a lighter alloy?

Lighter alloy? I think the top slide is already aluminum... you go any lighter and it will be tin foil or using plastic instead.... we've been down that route already with the BE68 ghetto duck.
