Pennsylvania NPPL PRO Ref Course June 28th and 29th

NPPL P.R.O Referee Training Course – Three Rivers Paintball June 28th and 29th, 2008

The Training course will be taught by the Ultimate Referee of the NPPL PRO. This dynamic course covers the art of officiating sanctioned NPPL events. Referees will gain knowledge on safety, positioning rules, making decisive calls, paintball equipment and general guidelines for refereeing national tournaments. The course will be classroom, field and actual game scenarios.

What: NPPL PRO Referee Training Course (2 Days)
When: June 28th and 29th , 2008
Where: Three Rivers Paintball Park

Time: The course begins Saturday morning at 8:00am to 4pm
Sunday training runs from 8:00am to 1:00pm
Cost: $100.00 USD payable to the NPPL. The course includes: in-class training, on field training, Official 2008 Level III Referee ID card and Official NPPL rulebook.

Referees must register in advance! Limited Spots Available!

Wonder if it would be worth it to get that kind of certification.

Then again, what good would it ever do me? Maybe i could help ref and take pictures at EMR...

I opted not to take this course when it was just 2 hours away from me, I just can't imagine how it could be more useful than the years of reffing and playing I've already put in. How many of us have the time to ref an NPPL event?
