I am unaware of the price or when it will be avaiable

Comparison

Carleton 45/4500
Pure Energy 50/4500
Pure Energy 70/4500

Con: Doesn't meet TSA airline requirements because "the regulator is thread locked into the cylinder"

How is it adjustable and have a parts kit if you can't remove it from the cylinder.

You dont need to remove the entire regulator to change springs and almost (if not ever) part of the regulator.

Those PE regs are easy to work on and the only issue ive had with them is after a while the pin valve will leak so you need to flip that little O ring and when it starts to leak again, replace it.

Not light though.

Those tanks look to be exactly the same tank as on CP air and the DXS systems, who knows how they pulled another 2CI out of them..

I see. I never really felt comfortable dealing with tank regs. But I do wonder if they are actually made in the USA.

Looking for all Canadians on MCB, building a list by province. PM me to be added to the list.

Harbringer - I doubt it. The tanks are made in USA, and most of or all of the ones we use here are (thank goodness) but the regs are probably made in downtown cheapsville, wherever that might be.

Yeah, that is what I figured. Probably the only thing I really fear is some shoddy 4500 psi tank 2 inches from my face.

It will obviously be competitively priced with other contemporary brand new presets.

Probably DXS price but the PE reg is way better than the DXS reg from what i know and have heard.

So maybe slightly more money than the DXS tanks?

I like the ND I reg and the myth depending on the application.

HPA tanks really are pretty scary. If you buy new, you get to be the guy that tests the tank to see if it leaks everywhere or kills you, but if you buy used you might be the guy who gets to ignite the hoppes that the previous owner dumped into the fill nipple.
