got hit with a nasty little virus, and then it sounds like the backups were corrupt as well. last I heard, there hadn't been any contact with the admin since then.

Probably no good backups were kept then. That is, kept offline and elsewhere.

That's the biggest killer of sites, so don't fall prey to it.

Back up your databases... and often. And download at least once a week onto your personal computer the latest download. If you can do it nightly, hey, then great. If not, then at least weekly to your computer.

People get complacent, and lazy. Since nothing happens, then no backups.

If you would like, I'll give you my shell scripts that I use to back up the databases.

Can we submit our oddball cockers for the gallery? I'm assuming your only going to put factory bodies in it, and not just any custom cut cocker body.

once we get things functional and figured out, we will probably take submissions. as far as what we will put up from submissions out side the catagories, thats something we haven't discussed yet, though there will be a small shops section for the smaller, true custom shops it looks like.

Very Nice! I can not wait until the population of cockers increases. Some very nice cockers to start with!

If electros never were invented, cockers would still rule the fields! Maybe we could find a way to disable electronic markers on the fields with a sound wave??? Only kidding!

I saw an EMP on futureweapons that could easily disable a field full of electros.
But you'd still have those damn pnumags slingin ropes.

Just the other day, I discussed an 'electro-disabling device' (EDD) with a few people, they all (except the 3 or so with electros) agreed with me.
