| They have transparent aluminum now too that they are testing for windows on armored vehicles. They had transparent aluminum in Star Trek also.

| No to sound like a prick...but actually the aluminum is translucent... light passes through it.. the clarity is the issue. There is also translucent concrete. Cool stuff
